This year has flown by!

We have purchased a new forklift to help with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles. We have kept busy over the summer months with a number of quick turnaround bespoke fabrications although quotations for structural fabrications have dropped recently.
With all of our large projects from the start of the year successfully completed, we have been catching up with all the small works projects and are now currently tendering for various projects to see us through the rest of the summer. Please contact us with any enquiries that you may have!
We have made a strong start to 2011, as is evident by my lack of spare time in updating the website! A number of large projects are underway including an external fire escape for a school (as seen below!) and a stainless steel structural tubular frame to form an indoor swimming pool, photographs to follow.
Christmas close down will be 5pm on 23rd December 2010. We will reopen Wednesday 5th January 2011. Merry Christmas to all of our customers and we wish you a prosperous new year.
The nights are drawing in, Winter is creeping closer, but we have just replaced all of the bulbs in our workshop with new energy efficient versions!
We have recently replaced our ageing press bender with a new Euromac Digibend 360 - it increases our bend depth capacity to 200mm and 36 tonnes, and offers a digital backstop and programming functions to enable exact repeatability of work.
Decorating of the offices is now completed and we are getting used to having more space. Works orders are continuing to come in as we move closer to the summer, despite ongoing monthly cost increases of steel sections from all national suppliers.
Our new offices are now fully open, giving us the opportunity to spread out a bit more. The new customer and enquiry entrance is signposted from the front of the building which leads to the general enquiries office and the accounts.
Our original office will soon become the drawing office and technical enquiries once we finish the decorating....
Happy new year! The recent snow has caused some havoc with our suppliers and certainly hampered our ability to deliver goods and perform site work. We have however tried our best to keep up with demand. More snow is falling now but hopefully not on the scale of last week....

Thank you to all of our loyal customers, 2009 has been a difficult year for many but we have been kept busy by you all!
Our new workshop is fully open, with the press brake and guillotine already being put to good use. We have also invested in an industrial wood burner to help us dispose of all the waste pallets we receive from deliveries, reduce our energy consumption, and of course help keep us warm during the Winter months!
New machinery coming soon... a brand new 3.050m 160T CNC press brake, and a brand new 3.100m guillotine. This will enable us to shear 6mm mild steel plate and thicker stainless steel, and provide competitive, precise bending solutions. Further technical information coming soon!
We are expanding! We have acquired the adjacent unit on our industrial estate and will be developing the site for stainless steel, aluminium and sheet metal work use. We now have over 7,500ft2 of workshop space in addition to our office areas, and we hope to have the expanded unit ready for late Summer 2009.
